Hill Rosefinch Table Lamp

This table lamp features two ceramic bodies stacked in striking contrast — a wide, rounded teal base, deep and glossy, the colour of the Eastern Ghats seen from a distance on a clear morning, dense and blue-green where the forest meets the sky.

Above it, a smaller domed upper body in warm, dusty rose — soft and smooth, the exact blush-pink of a rosefinch's breast.

The shade is wide and generously tapered — pale yellow fabric printed with loose, painterly florals, hot pink roses, fuchsia star blooms, coral buds, and soft grey-green foliage trailing across the surface. When lit, the florals glow vivid and warm — a hillside garden in full bloom, the pink of the roses echoing the blush ceramic below.

Material 

This table lamp has a stem made from stoneware clay, fired at 1220°C, paired with a Chanderi cotton floral lampshade.
