Wild Fig Table Lamp

This table lamp features a stacked ceramic base glazed in deep, matte plum — rich and dark, with a contrasting glossy mauve. The form is architectural and layered. At the foot, a clay unglazed base grounds the whole piece, unglazed and quiet.

The shade is wide and generous — white fabric printed with loose watercolour botanicals, blush petals, rust-red blooms, and olive foliage trailing across the surface. When lit, the florals glow warm and translucent, like pressed flowers held up to afternoon light.

This is the lamp for the corner of a verandah — dark wood furniture, a brass tray, the smell of mangoes in the air.

Material 

This table lamp has a stem made from stoneware clay, fired at 1220°C, paired with a Chanderi cotton floral lampshade.
