This ten-day intensive workshop is designed for ceramics practitioners seeking new directions in their studio practice. Whether you primarily work on the wheel and want to broaden your skills, or you are looking for fresh approaches to clay and creativity, 'New Ways with Clay' is an invitation to experiment, explore and engage with the material from a new perspective.

Fees Includes

The course, materials, firings, accommodation shared ( twin sharing ) or private cottage option, wholesome indian meals and snacks, DIY laundry room, access to guest space to lounge, read, relax, workout, farm activities, evening bon fires, tax. No extra charges.

Note - If you'd like to sign up for two or three consecutive intensives you can stay with us at no extra cost during the break of three days. The Studio will be closed in preparations for the next intensive.

What to expect

'New Ways with Clay' invites participants to experiment with techniques while expanding their thinking about the making process.

The workshop is a productive learning experience centered on creative techniques and letting the mind open to new ways of working. Time will be utilised to experiment with making processes rather than focus on making fired pieces.

Through a series of guided exercises, you will

- explore hand-building methods such as coiling and pinching large organic forms

- experiment with surface using a palette of coloured slips

- use two-dimensional approaches like drawing, tracing, and collage to develop ideas and engage in a dialogue between form and surface that is personal to you (no drawing skills required)

- discover ways to generate meaningful outcomes that refresh and evolve your artistic approach

- A personal toolkit to reimagine your creative process beyond the wheel, which you can use anytime to let new ideas flow in your studio.

Whether you are feeling creatively stuck or simply curious to see how clay might speak to you in new ways, this workshop offers the space, support, and inspiration to open up to new creative pathways in clay.

Cancellation Policy

- If you cancel before and on the 15th November 2025, we will provide you with a 100% refund.

- If you cancel between the 15th November to 1st December 2025, we deduct 50% of the total fees as cancellation fees and refund you the remaining paid amount.

-  In case of International payment refunds, the customer bears the transfer fee. It will get automatically deducted by the payment gateway.

- Post 1st December 2025, we will not be providing any refund. 

- If your case of medical emergency informed at-least a week in advance, we can consider rescheduling the course (upon providing proof) Refund is not possible. Less than a week, we will not be able to help you.

- Due to any reason, you have to leave during the course, we won't be able to give you a refund or reschedule.

- We follow this policy without any exceptions. 

- We take three to four weeks to process the refund. 

Once you book your slot, we will get back to you on email with a welcome mail and invoice within 48 hours.
